Where Did We Leave Off?

My, my! How time does fly! Just yesterday the year was 2007 and here it is, 2011! Where did the time go? What have we been doing these past four years? Counting my blessings for sure, and they are many! I have two books published, "Once Upon a Time Out West", a book of short stories, and a mystery,"Harry Mann in the Tangled Web". Who would have guessed I would be a published author. I have to admit my books will probably never win any award, but I do get a royalty check occasionally! THAT makes me feel like I am a real writer and that's worth a lot to me! Just thinking of someone reading my book is thrilling! Whether you know it or not writers suffer agony wondering if folks like what they write. The nicest thing a reader can do is make a comment, write a review, or just flat out tell 'em to their face. Amazing how those words can make such a difference. Better yet tell them you are waiting impatiently for the next book to come out! I have four waiting to be finished. Guess I better get started trying to finish a couple of them, so check in often and see where I am, til then........Read a book!
